Chameleon Chili Sauce Review

Today I want to share with my readers, a product review on Chameleon chili sauce. I received three jars from the company, and I couldn't wait to get started. But first a little about them.

Chameleon Chili Sauce is a specialty creation with very unique blends of ingredients which anyone could use in a variety of ways. From dips to pasta sauce, the products are can be used. All the sauces blend easy with your recipe, in fact they add a flavor that pops and becomes very distinctive.

So lets get started. For my first dish I made with the original chili sauce, short ribs. I braised my ribs, that near the end added the whole jar, no other spices were used. The sauce gave my short ribs the same tomato flavor as if I had used pasta sauce. The difference was the flavors were more dominate. The blend was so outstanding there was nothing left.

Next I cooked some pasta as a side dish and used the red pepper lime sauce. Again all I used was the jar of chili sauce, nothing else added. It actually coated the pasta better than a jar of pasta sauce. You get the taste of the red pepper, and hint of lime. What was great the sauce already had oils in it and cumin, so I really had a complete seasoning mix going on.

For a third dish, I went with a sloppy joe burger, and used the chipotle chili sauce. This gave my sloppy joe's a southwestern taste. Not to hot but not to mild. It made the sloppy joe burger's zesty and full of southwestern flavor. The blend of spices gave the burgers a rich smokey peppery taste.

In all with each dish no other ingredients needed to be added for flavor. The chili sauce's did it all. For a great sauce Founder Jonathan Robbins has made his mark. The ingredients are from fresh vegetables straight from the garden. It doesn't get any better than this.

DIY for dripping pops

A neat way to keep fingers from getting sticky is to poke a hole through a cupcake liner and slip your Popsicle stick through. Kids love not getting all sticky, and mom's love it to.

Robert Rothschild Product Review

Waiting for me on the porch yesterday was a package from Robert Rothschild Farm. I always know when I open it, something great is inside waiting for me to taste test and blog about. The company is from Urbana Ohio, and I have blogged for them several times, and their products are well worth the typing.

Their products are always rich and bold in flavors, not matter if its jams or coffee, you get great tastes. The company produce's high quality products from start to you finish in your own kitchen. So I can't wait to try the two I received today.

First up was the chocolate chip scone mix. Easy to follow directions gave me such yummy scones to go with the organic French vanilla ground coffee they sent. But first, let me tell you more about the scones. The mix was full of sweetness, and tons of chocolate chips. And they can be served up with so many toppings, such as butter or whipped cream, to fresh fruit. For mine I left them exactly as they were. In ten minutes I had the most moist, yummy scones I have tasted. They were very decadent, so full and rich in flavor, and yummy in each bite I took. They were gone fast, and after you try them, you'll know why. They are great for a breakfast serving or even a snack, and they also look great on a brunch table. The best part as if could be beat, is they are all natural.

Next up, to drink with my scones, I made a pot of the organic French vanilla ground coffee they sent along. Any one in my family can tell you I love my coffee, and flavored is my favorite type. This coffee gives you the taste of sweet vanilla in every sip you take. Pair it with the chocolate chip scones and your taste buds will be in heaven.

If you would like more information on these two great products, as well as the company's many others, hop on over to their website, There you will find a ton of useful information and products.

Supplies:- Tall, round 3 Quart container with a lid
- Better quality paper towels (the cheap paper towels don't work well on a dirty bottom)
- Knife to cut the paper towel roll in two
- Baby shampoo
- Baby oil

1. Cut a paper towel roll in half so you have two short rolls.

2. Set one roll inside the canister. Set the other half aside for next time.

3. Combine and stir together:
1 1/2 cup hot tap water
2 Tablespoon baby shampoo
2 Tablespoon baby oil

4. Pour the liquid mixture over the top of the paper towel roll. As the liquid soaks through, the moisture will loosen the cardboard center making it easy to pull out. If you get lucky, it will bring with it the end of the paper towel roll. If not, carefully pull on the wipes in the center to get the sequence going.

5. Pull out the amount of paper towels (from the center) that are needed. Reseal after each use.

6. If the wipes are not wet enough or the lid doesn't get put back on, just add more water. If the wipes are too moist, leave the lid off for a little while.
